Employee Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing expert support and guidance to employees who have suffered injuries or illnesses, with the aim of facilitating a smooth return to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualised return-to-work plans for all injured/ill employees across Australia.
  • Conduct site visits to assess work environments and develop strategies to support safe returns to work.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee rehabilitation plans and progress.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in supporting employee rehabilitation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.
  • Negotiate with external service providers to establish effective networks for employee rehabilitation services.
  • Promote efficient reporting and tracking of workplace injuries.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and regulations.
Results & Reporting
  • Keep detailed case notes for each employee.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Manage timelines to meet regulatory deadlines.
  • Analyse data to inform business improvements and identify areas for growth.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to key stakeholders through monthly reports.
