Job Summary

The Audiobook Recording Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire audiobook production process, from casting and hiring to scheduling and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Casting narrators and/or authors to read books aloud, ensuring a high-quality listening experience for customers.
  • Liaising with publishers, agents, and authors to coordinate the hiring of narrators and studios to meet deadlines.
  • Scheduling narrators and/or authors in various locations based on talent location, streamlining the recording process.
  • Conducting quality control checks to ensure high-quality audio products are delivered to markets.
  • Managing files, coordinating manuscripts, and performing data entry tasks related to making audiobooks.
  • Proactively seeking new narrators through outreach to agents and casting calls.
About You / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in production management and handling high-volume workloads.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, including advanced Excel expertise.
  • Ability to plan effectively and manage changing priorities in fast-paced environments.
