
Country Banking Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated KYC Analyst to join our team. As a KYC Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and competent handling of first-line responsibilities in the completion, review, maintenance, and administration of various Country Banking Business Support activities.
The purpose of this role is to perform ongoing KYC assessments for low- and medium-risk clients, conduct outreach efforts via phone and email to gather KYC requirements, and provide training to front-line staff on CDD requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating SharePoint and other reporting systems as directed and collaborating with in-house risk and compliance SMEs to ensure optimal outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about financial services and has experience in KYC & financial crime. You will work closely with the Financial Economic Crime Operations & Intelligence (FEC) team to ensure effective handovers and contribute to a standardized approach to customer due diligence processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing KYC assessments for low- and medium-risk clients
- Conduct outreach efforts via phone and email to gather KYC requirements
- Provide training to front-line staff on CDD requirements
- Update SharePoint and other reporting systems as directed
- Collaborate with in-house risk and compliance SMEs to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience in the financial services industry, specifically KYC & financial crime
- A general understanding of AML/CTF legislation, Code of Banking Practice & FATCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a contact centre environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
