Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Are you a driven hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at the iconic Coliseum Theatre.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of all food and beverage services across 7 vibrant retail outlets during shows, private venue hires, conferences, and gala events. You will work closely with the Front of House Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock, rosters, staff performance, and outlet readiness to ensure optimal operations and customer service.
  • Lead, train, and inspire bar and service staff to deliver exceptional hospitality across all events.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre Services Manager and in-house chefs to execute conferences, banquets, and special events.
  • Create event-appropriate menus, drinks lists, and food and beverage proposals that exceed expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management or equivalent vocational experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing bar / concession operations.
  • Previous experience in multi-purpose or large-scale venue beverage operations (desirable).
  • Knowledge of hospitality, including business planning, event delivery, and customer care and pricing strategy development.
