We are seeking a highly skilled Care Coordinator - Roster Specialist to join our team in Shenton Park. As a key member of our scheduling team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate rostering of staff to deliver responsive services to our clients.

Job Description

As a Care Coordinator - Roster Specialist, you will work closely with our Scheduling Coordinator to manage Support Worker and Coordinator scheduling and rosters. Your primary duties will include:

  • Scheduling Management: Create and distribute rosters to support staff, ensuring seamless coverage and effective resource allocation.
  • Coverage Coordination: Contact staff to cover shortfalls, including emergency replacements, to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Leave and Induction Processing: Process leave requests, induction paperwork, training schedules, new starter documentation, and invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain databases to ensure systems remain current and up-to-date.
  • Roster Rotation: Rotate rosters within the team to promote flexibility and workload management.
  • General Enquiries: Answer general scheduling enquiries from internal stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Scheduling Expertise: Proven experience in scheduling or rostering, preferably in the Disability or Aged Care sector or similar.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management, and rostering software.
  • Organisational Abilities: Highly developed organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service focus, understanding of person-centred and inclusive support for individuals with Autism.
  • Initiative and Collaboration: Proven ability to use initiative and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
