Strategic Workforce Development Officer

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to Treasury's organisational strategies, projects and products as a member of the Organisational Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving workforce planning and strategy, and inclusion and diversity outcomes for the Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse diverse quantitative and qualitative workforce data, drawing from human resources datasets and opinion survey responses.
- Undertake statistical analysis of numerous data sources to inform evidence-based strategies.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including APSC groups, APS agencies and external researchers, to understand research requirements and provide analysis and support services.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director to develop accessible reports in self-service interfaces like PowerBi.
- Work methodically to retrieve and clean data to ensure accurate and timely reports, meeting agreed timeframes and milestones.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Data Analysis or Workforce Planning will be highly regarded.
- Strong data analysis capability and understanding of data aggregation and HR data quality are essential.
- The ability to analyse, understand and communicate workforce information in an engaging and informative way is crucial.
