Workforce planning is a crucial component of human resources strategy in organizations.

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia, as a leading cultural institution, requires a skilled Workforce Planning Officer to support its growth and development.

As a key member of the HR team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality workforce planning and associated projects, driving business outcomes and advancing organizational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing data analysis to inform strategic workforce decisions;
  • Creating and maintaining various reports and resources;
  • Delivering accurate guidance and support on workforce planning software and systems;
  • Developing and implementing workforce strategies that drive efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Collaborating with senior staff to advance organizational goals and objectives;
  • Completing allocated projects related to workplace and workforce planning.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting workforce planning and associated activities within a multi-faceted HR team;
  • Proven ability to analyze data and complete reporting activities with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse audiences.
