Learning Development Specialist

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development Manager to design, deliver and evaluate learning programs that enhance performance and drive results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in training strategy, adult learning practices, and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Learning Strategies: Develop annual learning plans that meet business objectives and optimize employee engagement.
  • Develop Onboarding Programs: Create comprehensive onboarding experiences that include systems training, role-specific development sessions, and IT setup.
  • Maintain Compliance: Continuously monitor relevant materials to ensure they are up-to-date with reflecting legislative and policy changes.
  • Capability Gap Analysis: Work closely with leadership to identify skill gaps and build pathways to enhance performance through learning.
  • Evaluate Training Programs: Conduct ongoing review of training programs and artefacts to support optimal engagement and learning outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a Learning & Development Management role.
  • Experience within the financial sector.
  • Exceptional knowledge of adult learning practices and frameworks.
