Protect Defence Personnel and Assets
About the Role: We are seeking a confident and capable security professional to join our operations at a secured base in Singleton. This position plays a critical role in protecting Defence personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, access management, and a strong on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel are permitted on site.
- Foot Patrols: Conduct regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Build rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while delivering a strong security presence.
- Incident Response: React promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behavior.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure site protocols and Defence security procedures are always followed.
- Reporting & Documentation: Accurately record incidents, shift activities, and observations in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship required for Defence security clearance eligibility
- A current Security Licence valid in QLD
- Baseline Defence Clearance or must be willing to obtain a Baseline Clearance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with Defence personnel and site stakeholders
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- A strong sense of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
