This position plays a pivotal role in enabling clients to participate in activities tailored to their physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with assessing clients' needs for recreational therapy and diversional activities.
  • Contribute to designing, implementing, and evaluating activity plans in collaboration with the team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of delegated documentation.
  • Support clients in achieving leisure and recreational goals.
  • Maintain effective relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, clergy, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Foster a cooperative environment among staff, clients, and their families.
About You:
  • Experience in conducting activity programs, therapy, diversional activities, and recreation is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and communicate successfully.
  • Commitment to ongoing skill development, knowledge enhancement, and competence growth.
  • Background in caring for the elderly or demonstrated interest in working in aged care is preferred.
  • Experience within community services, not-for-profit sectors, or similar organizations is advantageous.
