Job Overview

The Infrastructure Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ICT systems that support critical infrastructure projects such as tunnel automation and intelligent transport systems.

Responsibilities include designing and developing on-premise virtualization environments using VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for planning, designing, and integrating complex ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, test, and upgrade VMware virtualization solutions for optimal performance
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data protection
  • Manage SAN/NAS storage solutions to support virtualization infrastructure
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot networking and ICT system issues effectively
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards like IEC 62443 by implementing security controls
  • Utilize scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Puppet) to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
