Job Opportunity: Lead Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to lead our financial reporting functions across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Oversee the entire financial reporting function, including managing a large team and owning all aspects of financial reporting.
  • Work closely with senior finance leaders to identify priorities and drive strategic initiatives supporting both finance and business objectives.
  • Develop innovative solutions to reduce reporting complexity and implement best practices through the development of effective systems and processes.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with local stakeholders as a key point of contact for finance teams and global leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop timely budgets and reviews.
  • Provide in-depth analysis to inform senior management decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience leading small/medium-sized teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong skills in team development and performance management.
  • Ability to provide critical analysis and insights to support significant business decisions.
  • Expertise in Excel and experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
