Financial Reporting Specialist

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team. As a key member of this close-knit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial affairs of our organization are properly controlled and reported.

This role involves ensuring accurate, timely and reconciled monthly reports and annual reporting requirements are met. You will be responsible for maintaining general ledger integrity, supporting the AR Team in posting daily revenue imports, and accounting for new acquisitions.

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of financial management practices, including budgeting and performance monitoring. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement proactive measures.

Beyond these technical skills, we are looking for someone who is confident in their decision-making abilities and able to work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to adapt to changing circumstances, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Support the AR Team in processing daily revenue imports.
  • Account for new acquisitions, including settlement adjustments and staff training.
  • Analyze operating results and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed Accounting degree.
  • Working towards CPA certification.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
