Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Description:

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving process improvements across the finance function. Your responsibilities will include leading the month-end and year-end close process, preparing consolidated financial statements, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting tax compliance.

  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and statutory reports.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support tax compliance, including BAS, FBT, GST, and liaise with external advisors as needed.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with 4-6 years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, progressing into commercial roles.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and consolidations.
  • Experience in complex, multinational businesses is highly regarded.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
