Logistics Coordinator

Project Expeditor facilitates timely material flow between supplier and project client, reporting to the project manager.
Key Responsibilities- Engage suppliers for expediting client purchase orders in a timely manner
- Update purchase order due dates using business platforms and customer platforms
- Monitor order readiness and ensure 'required on site' dates are met
- Keep records up-to-date and compliant with business guidelines and project requirements
- Communicate order delays and resolve them to meet deadlines
- Ensure correct order documentation is issued by vendors
- Arrange collections of orders ready to ship and monitor arrivals at business depot
- Manage outstanding and due items and prepare expediting reports
- Meet project key performance indicators and work closely with the project team
- 5+ years international logistics experience
- Experience in cargo management software and reporting
- SAP experience beneficial
- Strong negotiation skills
- Complete understanding of company values
- English language proficiency (CEFR Level 5)
- Data compiling and processing skills through excel
- Intermediate IT skills (word, excel, outlook, sharepoint)
