High-quality grain-fed beef is produced at a facility in Toowoomba, employing approximately 850 staff members. The site's processing capacity allows for the handling of 999 cattle per day.

A Maintenance Planner position has become available at this integrated feedlot and processing facility.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds. This includes:

  • Liaising with external service providers
  • Managing inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
  • Contributing to the development of maintenance strategies and expense management
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
  • Maintaining effective communication with maintenance staff, management, and other stakeholders

This role requires previous experience in a similar maintenance planning position and strong organizational skills. A good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is essential, as well as supervisory experience and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving maintenance issues efficiently, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for success in this position.
