A highly regarded residential aged care home is seeking an accomplished Deputy Director of Nursing (DDON) to join its collaborative team culture and strong community focus. The ideal candidate will partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee day-to-day clinical operations, staff leadership, and resident care.
- Manage operations and lead the clinical team effectively.
- Provide visible, approachable leadership across the residence consistently.
- Oversee documentation, compliance, and communication standards rigorously.
- Mentor and guide RNs and PCWs to deliver high-quality care.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and community-focused environment enthusiastically.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on being hands-on, values clear communication, and is motivated to make a difference for residents and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Current AHPRA registration as an RN required.
- Leadership experience and motivation for continual leadership growth in residential aged care essential.
- Strong communication and documentation skills necessary.
- Collaborative, proactive approach with full-time availability expected.
