Private Medical Practitioner Opportunity

A medical practitioner role is available at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Medical Superintendent to provide high-quality medical services to inpatients and outpatients.
- Ensure 24-hour emergency department coverage.
- Pursue private practice at a surgery run by the Medical Superintendent.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Enrolment/acceptance into a General Practice training program that facilitates a provider number with access to Medicare benefits for the private practice.
- Current certification in Advanced Life Support and Advanced Paediatric Life Support.
- Maintain ongoing Continuing Medical Education enrollment and adherence.
What We Offer:
- Total remuneration package valued at up to $261,699 p.a.
- Professional Development Leave and Allowances ($21,500 p.a.).
