Medical Officer Specialist Healthcare Provider

The position entails collaborating with the Medical Superintendent to provide comprehensive medical services to patients, encompassing inpatient and outpatient care as well as emergency department coverage.
Private practice will be undertaken at a surgery located in Minogue Street or by arrangement at Gladstone Hospital.

Qualifications:- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the relevant medical authority.
- Enrolment/acceptance into a General Practitioner training program with access to Medicare benefits.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) certification, and ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) program enrolment.
- Candidates with prior emergency experience can pursue vocational registration through the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS).
- Total remuneration package value up to $261,699 per annum, comprising salary, superannuation, leave loading, overtime allowances, and opportunities for professional development.
