This position offers the opportunity to provide a range of medical services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as emergency care. The role also involves providing medical services in a general practice clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Medical Superintendent to provide high-quality medical services to patients within the Baralaba Multipurpose Health Service and general practice clinic.
- Participate in an on-call roster to ensure 24-hour coverage for medical services.
- A bachelor's degree in medicine or surgery, or equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Enrolment in a General Practice training program that will facilitate access to Medicare benefits.
- Candidates must hold current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) certification, and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
- Experience in emergency medicine is desirable, particularly those who wish to pursue vocational registration through the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS).
- Total remuneration package value of up to $261,699 per annum.
