
Systems Compliance Specialist

This position can be based in Williamtown or Amberley, offering you the opportunity to shape Australia's future air capability and contribute to the cutting-edge E-7A Wedgetail program.
As a quality system specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our programs meet and exceed the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver assurance and compliance for one of Australia's most advanced military platforms.
Responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing proposals, contracts, and customer requirements to embed quality from day one;
- Crafting policies, procedures, and metrics to uphold industry expectations;
- Driving data analysis, root cause investigations, and proactive problem-solving;
- Leading supplier quality reviews and providing assurance support to business decisions;
- Conducting audits against standards and regulatory requirements;
- Collaborating across teams to promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement;
- Supporting material review and dispositioning non-conforming parts;
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in Quality Management Systems, aviation, engineering, or related field;
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, quality, or equivalent professional experience;
- Analytical problem-solver with data-driven decision-making capability;
- Ability to influence, engage, and communicate with senior stakeholders;
- Lead auditor qualifications or willingness to obtain upon commencement;
- Resilient, hands-on mindset with ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments;
- Australian Citizenship (eligible for Defence security clearance);
