Job Role

As a Financial Systems Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of financial systems compliance testing efforts across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with the global finance team to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), assisting with compliance assessments, testing, and remediation activities. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, document controls and processes, and help drive improvements in internal controls and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Program Execution: Work closely with global finance teams to assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Conduct detailed testing of financial systems, including general controls (GCs), application controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls, and automated financial reporting controls in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards. Identify control deficiencies, including Segregation of Duties conflicts, and collaborate with the global finance team to support the remediation process, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
  • Collaboration with Global Finance and Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with finance stakeholders globally to assess and document the effectiveness of internal controls, including Segregation of Duties (SoD), and recommend improvements where necessary. Collaborate with audit, risk management, and other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to compliance across the organization. Provide guidance and support to finance teams during the testing and remediation process, ensuring smooth coordination and timely resolution of issues.
  • Audit and External Relations: Support external auditors during audits, coordinating compliance documentation and testing results. Assist in responding to audit findings and drive the resolution of any identified control deficiencies or issues. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of compliance activities to ensure readiness for both internal and external audits.
