Job Title: Cyber Security Executive Leader

This role is a rare opportunity to lead national scale cloud, AI and Defence security strategy from the front. As our next Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will be responsible for defining and executing enterprise security strategy, driving compliance and accreditation across multiple standards including ISM, PSPF, DISP, IRAP, ISO 27001.

About You
  • You must have a TSPV clearance with at least 15 years of IT/cybersecurity experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • You should have a fluent understanding of ISM, PSPF, DISP, ASD Essential Eight, ISO 27001, and related standards.
  • A background in sovereign, cloud, or AI/HPC environments would be highly desirable.
  • You are expected to possess well-developed Leadership skills - experience in building teams.
The Role
  • Governance & Compliance: Lead frameworks including ISM, PSPF, ASD Essential Eight, DISP, IRAP.
  • Technical Security Leadership: Oversee secure architecture across AI/ML environments, air gapped Defence networks, and sovereign cloud.
  • Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Build a dedicated security function, mentor cleared engineers, and represent us with Defence/NIC clients.
