Job Description

We are seeking a senior Cyber Security Architect to join our team. This role is accountable for undertaking work with high complexity and/or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes across ICT support service functions.

The successful candidate will have a focus on Cyber Security across several capabilities including identity and access, cyber security operations, data storage and analytics, payment and debt management, public facing systems, fraud and case management, mobile applications, and governance, risk and compliance.

This position involves working with project teams and other SMEs to ensure that the cyber security architecture supports the program of work and meets business requirements.

All candidates must have a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolving complex IT related issues and risks across wide-ranging activities involving significant detail.
  • Having experience and in-depth knowledge across cyber security architecture and industry best practice.
  • Developing and participating in the implementation of initiatives focused on reducing technology risk, governance and compliance to policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Developing IT security standards, policy, procedures, and controls for managing risks.
  • SUPPORTING various business areas by ensuring stakeholders adequately address all relevant compliance standards such as PSPF, ISM, Agency Risk Management Frameworks and incident management disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience as a cyber security architect using Microsoft products and platforms.
  • High level of communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate at technical, business and personal levels.
  • Experience with digital transformations.
  • Initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an ICT related field or applicable industry certifications.
