Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise caseworkers delivering support services to South Australian communities in our region
  • Oversee Intake and Assessment Officers responding to urgent referrals via free call lines or in-person meetings at our office
  • Establish and maintain relationships for coordinated service delivery in South Australia
  • Collaborate closely with the Northern Territory/Western Australia Team Leader
  • Participate in strategic leadership of the DFVS through the management team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed complex case management within domestic violence contexts
  • Knowledge of holistic and relational approaches to domestic violence service delivery relevant for Aboriginal Australian cultural contexts
  • Experience working cross-culturally with a demonstrated understanding of cultural safety and its application in human services
  • Able to apply strengths-based management and leadership principles
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, or related fields
