
Aboriginal Domestic Violence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of effective domestic violence strategies and policies that prioritize cultural sensitivity and community engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address complex cases requiring specialized support.
- Provide coaching and guidance to caseworkers on trauma-informed practices and culturally safe approaches to domestic violence intervention.
- Maintain open lines of communication with local leaders and community members to ensure that our services meet their needs and expectations.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with extensive experience in domestic violence case management and leadership roles.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs and interventions that achieve measurable outcomes and demonstrate cultural competence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders, including Aboriginal community members, local leaders, and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and develop creative solutions.
- A competitive salary range of $103,000 - $111,000 per year, plus generous benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
