Lead the Way in Aboriginal Community Support

We are seeking an exceptional Team Leader to join our Family Violence team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to make a difference in the lives of women, children, and families in Central Australia. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising caseworkers and intake officers, developing relationships with community partners, and contributing to the overall management of our services.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to provide comprehensive support services, including trauma-informed complex case management, holistic service delivery, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop a high-performing team of caseworkers and intake officers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and other organizations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, supervision, and team management.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, complex case management, and holistic service delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment and apply cultural safety principles.
  • Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, community development, or related fields.
