Infrastructure Monitoring Specialist

The role entails overseeing the data centre Amazon facilities infrastructure platform, serving as a liaison between internal and external teams, developing protocols for communication and escalation, and contributing to post-incident analysis.

This position is part of the Data Centre Global Engineering Operations team, focusing on delivering high-quality services at minimal cost. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers to ensure safety, security, and capacity.

We are seeking an individual with leadership skills to spearhead the newly developed Facilities Operations Centre (FOC). This centre will monitor the data centre infrastructure, assist in crisis management, and facilitate seamless communication among teams.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a point of contact for internal and external teams
  • Developing communication and escalation protocols
  • Contributing to outage post-mortem analysis
  • Ensuring timely updates to records
  • Coordinating during emergency recovery efforts
