Professional Opportunity: Full-Time Registered Midwife

This is a full-time role in the Maternity Department at a leading hospital in North Sydney. We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join our forward-thinking maternity team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife and minimum two years' relevant post-registration qualifications/experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the postnatal midwifery setting and ability to advocate for and implement individualised patient-centred care are essential.
  • The successful candidate will work alongside an inspiring, collaborative team of midwives, lactation consultants, mothercraft nurses, and dedicated Allied Health professionals.

About You:

  • Essential criteria include current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife, minimum two years' relevant post-registration qualifications/experience, demonstrated experience working in the postnatal midwifery setting, and demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised patient-centred care.
  • Desirable criteria include demonstrated experience in antenatal midwifery setting, experience in Private Health Care, IBCLC (Lactation) certificate, and willingness to be involved in quality projects to continuously improve the care we deliver.
