We are seeking a skilled midwife to provide high-quality, culturally safe maternity care to Aboriginal women and their families.
About the Role- Deliver evidence-based, woman-centred maternity care to Aboriginal women and those having an Aboriginal baby.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of models for continuity of carer/primary health care.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1).
- Extensive experience and clinical skill in midwifery.
- A commitment to providing culturally sensitive care and awareness of cultural respect.
- An understanding of unique medical, physical, social, and emotional issues affecting Aboriginal maternal and infant health.
