Maternity Care Professional

As a Registered Midwife at our organization, you will provide safe, woman-centred maternity care from initial assessment through to discharge, collaborating closely with women, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, and person-centred care to women and their families throughout the continuum of maternity services.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, mentor colleagues and students, and actively contribute to continuous quality improvement and research initiatives.
  • Work on a rotating roster, gaining diverse experience through rotations in Birthing Suite, Maternity Ward, and Special Care Nursery at Gosford Hospital Antenatal Clinics at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals Midwifery in the Home (MITH) program across the Central Coast.
About You

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Registered Midwives who demonstrate clinical excellence, a commitment to professional growth, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment that prioritises safety, respect, and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to deliver woman-centred care.
  • Commitment to teamwork, professional growth, and patient safety.
  • A current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • The ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
