Support Care Assistant

Job Overview

As a Support Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality personal and emotional care to residents. You will work closely with the team to ensure the best possible care is delivered.

  • Assist with personal care tasks, ensuring the comfort and dignity of each resident.
  • Provide mobility support, including helping residents with walking or transferring between positions.
  • Monitor health changes and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
  • Support residents with dietary requirements and assist with eating.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations.

Key Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, nurses, doctors, and other colleagues to deliver the best possible care.

Requirements and Qualifications

For this role, you will need:

  • Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
