Procurement Specialist Opportunity
Becoming part of a dynamic organization means finding your individual role and workspace to unleash your talents to the fullest.
This is a 6-month temporary position based at our head office, where you will join a high-performing team and be responsible for procurement and administrative tasks.
You will coordinate procurement of goods and services, including hardware, software, and ad-hoc purchases, process purchase requisitions and confirm receipt of goods/services in relevant systems, manage invoices and internal cross-charges, and maintain awareness of procurement and support invoice/SLA tracking.
Key duties include:

- Identify and support process improvement opportunities in procurement.
- Provide general administrative support related to procurement.
Responsibilities also include coordinating activities within the department, maintaining internal communications, supporting reporting tasks, organizing events, scheduling meetings, assisting with team engagement activities, and providing updates to stakeholders as needed.
To be successful, you will need to possess highly desirable attributes, such as setting high goals or standards of performance, possessing well-developed organizational and time management skills, demonstrating stability of performance while under pressure, prioritizing and working to tight deadlines, identifying and developing alternative solutions to problems, representing the organization effectively and professionally, being self-motivated and autonomous, and paying attention to detail.
Additional requirements include being flexible and open to change, focusing on and completing multiple tasks, being multi-skilled, having excellent communication skills, possessing a professional attitude, being an autonomous worker as well as being a self-starter, and having a strong team player mindset.
Specific knowledge required includes working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, general understanding of the information technology space, general understanding of administrative procurement tasks, and strong mathematical and accounting skills.
Education/training requirements include advanced skills in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
