Data Center Technician

The Data Center Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of data center facilities.
This position requires an individual with expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering systems, as well as strong communication skills to effectively present information to internal departments, clients, management, and colleagues.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Electrical Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that the site's environmental conditions are conducive to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with established processes and regulations.
- Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Airconditioning & Refrigeration/ARC license
- Australian Citizenship and NV1 vetting clearance
- Training in a technical discipline, having completed an apprenticeship or equivalent, with 2-4 years of job-related experience
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
