Therapeutic Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team in supporting vulnerable young people.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of young people who have experienced trauma. As a Therapeutic Support Worker, you will provide emotional support and guidance to our clients, helping them build confidence, resilience and positive relationships.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.

In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment, managing daily routines and activities, and providing regular updates to the House Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young people in a non-judgmental way.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Working with Children Check, Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Strong emotional self-regulation skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of young people who have experienced trauma
