About the Role

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) is seeking a highly skilled WHS and Wellbeing Partner to join its Chief of Staff and Enterprise Services (ChES) division. As a key member of the People Partner team, you will play a critical role in driving work health and safety strategies, regulatory compliance, and wellbeing programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement WHS Strategy: In partnership with the CPO and Head of People Partners, develop and implement a comprehensive WHS strategy that aligns with regulatory requirements and APRA's needs.
  • Lead WHS Committee: Lead and coordinate the WHS Committee, ensuring engagement with stakeholders and effective implementation of actions.
  • Case Management: Manage complex WHS cases, including claims management and WHS legislation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure APRA's adherence to all relevant WHS laws, regulations, Codes of Practice, and standards.
  • Health and Safety Expertise: Provide expert guidance on health, safety, and wellbeing issues, analyze data to detect trends and emerging risks, and devise timely proactive strategies.
About You
  • Extensive WHS Experience: Proven experience in a WHS consultant or advisory role, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation and regulatory environment.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of WHS strategies, programs, and initiatives, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and derive key insights to inform WHS strategies.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Health Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
