
Chief Event Organizer

We are seeking an experienced and creative Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute events and weddings. As a successful event planner, you will work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences and budget requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their event or wedding needs.
- Select and manage venues, vendors and service providers to meet client expectations.
- Plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of events and weddings, including venue setup, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation and accommodations.
- Develop detailed event timelines, production schedules and budgets to ensure smooth execution.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to secure the best possible services and prices.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as guest lists, invitations, RSVPs and seating arrangements.
- Oversee event activities on the day of the event, ensuring all elements run smoothly and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices and emerging event technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Event Planner, Wedding Planner or similar role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by event schedules.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Knowledge of local venues, vendors and suppliers is a plus.
- Ability to travel in Western Australia, domestically and internationally when needed.
