Operations Maintenance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project planning and execution, scope and schedule, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with Class standards.
  • Deliver maintenance activities to meet client-agreed schedules and milestones, communicate progress to stakeholders, control schedule growth, and mitigate risks for timely completion.
  • Communicate HSEQ issues to stakeholders, uphold Austal-aligned policies, and lead initiatives for zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI).
  • Manage project budgets for timely financial close-out in accordance with Sustainment Gate process, and minimize work-in-progress and outstanding commitments.
  • Oversee compliance with Class requirements for operational condition of designated platforms, adhere to quality assurance standards, and manage class-related conditions.
  • Produce clear, concise reports using strong analytical skills.

You'll need:

  • Australian Citizenship or ability to maintain security clearance
  • 3-5yrs project supervisory experience in marine or construction/maintenance industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • White Card or ability to obtain
  • Experience in Primavera P6, CMMS, and/or Microsoft Project
  • Diploma in Marine Engineering, Marine Trade, or Project Management
  • Marine platform experience
  • Trade certificate
  • Risk Management or Contract management experience
  • Understanding of Vessel Class requirements and class processes
