Job Description

The Maintenance Coordinator is accountable for developing, scheduling, and implementing all maintenance activities for aircraft and related equipment. This involves creating and managing maintenance work orders, monitoring maintenance progress, and ensuring the timely completion of all maintenance tasks. The coordinator will collaborate closely with other departments to guarantee that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role requires a high level of organization and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance production planning within a CASA Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility or possess extensive knowledge of production planning and maintenance operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage maintenance work orders for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Production Engineer (PE) and Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Provide regular updates on maintenance progress to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Maintenance production planning role within a CASA Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Facility or extensive knowledge of Production Planning & maintenance operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
