Nursing Education and Research Opportunities

This senior academic position supports the growth of nursing programs, with a focus on excellence in teaching and research. The role involves leading and delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, providing academic leadership in curriculum development, and conducting impactful research.

  • Teaching: Lead and deliver high-quality student-centred teaching across nursing programs, ensuring students develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their careers.
  • Curriculum Development: Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, working closely with colleagues to design and implement innovative nursing programs that meet the needs of students and industry.
  • Research: Conduct and lead impactful research aligned with the university's strategic priorities, securing external funding and supervising HDR students.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration across disciplines and with industry, government, and community partners to drive innovation and excellence in nursing education and research.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A doctoral qualification in a discipline relevant to Nursing.
  • Current registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching excellence and scholarly achievement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to mentoring, collaboration, and inclusion.
