Supporting Research Activities as Laboratory Assistant

Research and Support Role for Clinical Trials Team
Part-time role, approximately 16-20 hours per week.
The position involves supporting the research team with laboratory and clerical tasks. This includes handling blood and saliva samples and processing them according to trial-specific procedures, as well as administrative and clerical duties.
Flexibility is essential in this role, as working patterns may need to be adjusted to support the needs of the research team and clinic activities. Occasional weekend work may be required.
A fixed-term contract is offered for a period of two years from September 2025.
Based at Windrush Medical Practice, you may be asked to work at Eynsham Medical Practice on occasion.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.21, with the opportunity to join the NHS Pension Scheme.
