Job Title:

Director of Indigenous Education and Partnerships

We are seeking a strategic leader to provide meaningful connections with First Nations Peoples, communities, and stakeholders.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will bring a First Nations voice and lens to all organisational decisions, partnering with Regional Directors, Principals and regional First Nations Leaders to develop, monitor and support the implementation of the First Nations Education Framework.

  • Leadership skills related to this position.
  • High-level communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills for a complex organisational structure.
  • Qualities and skills identified by First Nations People as important in leaders.

Innovative, influential and authoritative leadership capabilities are required. The ability to diagnose problems, foresee issues and devise appropriate responses is also essential.

Key Attributes and Experience:
  • Understanding of and commitment to values of a Catholic educational system.
  • Proven senior leadership experience with strong administrative, communication and leadership skills.
  • Extensive professional experience with First Nations People and Communities.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to develop, implement and manage strategic plans.
