Job Title: Depot Operations Team MemberWe are seeking a motivated and organized individual to take on the challenge of working in our depot operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the loading and unloading of trailers and trucks, as well as sorting freight and assisting with load allocations.The ideal candidate will possess a current Forklift Licence with experience in loading and unloading oversized, fragile, and awkward-shaped freight. They will also need to conduct pre-start checks on forklifts and other equipment within the logistics environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading trailers and trucks
  • Sorting freight and assisting with load allocations
  • Preparation of outgoing freight, manifesting, and paperwork
Requirements:
  • Current Forklift Licence with experience in loading and unloading oversized, fragile, and awkward-shaped freight
  • Ability to use handheld scanners, learn manifesting, and compile paperwork
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
  • Reasonable literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent work ethic with a "can do" attitude and approach
  • Able and willing to comply with company policies, partner policies, and safety standards
Desirable Qualities:
  • HR or larger Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role
