Design Technical Planning & Subcontract Coordinator

Delivering results through strategic design and planning, this role is pivotal within the Design and Engineering team.

This position involves creating and maintaining a design team philosophy, resource forecasts, work breakdown structures, and schedules to ensure timely and accurate product delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining a design team planning philosophy, resource forecasts, WBS, and schedules;
  • Identifying, onboarding, and monitoring subcontractors and subcontracted work packages;
  • Producing accurate documentation meeting procedural and auditable requirements;
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are not compromised or missed;
  • Communicating effectively with all necessary parties;
  • Exhibiting a proactive attitude towards innovation and improvement;

You will collaborate with experienced industry professionals in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in relevant design and planning disciplines, strong demonstrated experience with Primavera P6 &/or MS Project, excellent time management and organisational skills, flexibility and adaptability to prioritise conflicting demands, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a good understanding of data and document management principles.
