Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Attendant.

This is a casual pool opportunity that will oversee the provision and supervision of event and function hospitality services, including front of house, food and beverage servicing, and general housekeeping duties.

The successful candidate will provide an efficient, safe, welcoming and friendly front of house service for events and functions, ensuring high standards of presentation and customer service, and supporting the delivery and execution of day-to-day operational services.

The role involves preparing and assisting with event orders, maintaining safety and operational requirements in line with council policies, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in hospitality/catering or event-related field, current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, and demonstrated experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in events/functions.

In addition, they will possess strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification in hospitality/catering or event-related field.
  • Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in events/functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

  • Hourly remuneration from $42.04 gross per hour, comprising: base salary, casual loading, superannuation.
