Forensics & Financial Crime Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensics & Financial Crime Specialist to join our team. With a strong background in financial crime, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-profile engagements with some of Australia's most iconic organisations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years' experience in financial crime roles and a proven track record of delivering independent reviews and money laundering and terrorism financing risk assessments. You will also have strong technical skills and capability in relation to key AML/CTF related areas, including but not limited to, know your customer (KYC) transaction monitoring (TM), ongoing customer due diligence (OCDD) and enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-profile financial crime engagements.
  • Client relationship management and business development.
  • Team leadership and talent development.
  • Practice management and ongoing strategy development.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years' experience in financial crime role(s).
  • Experience working in a consulting environment/professional services firm is highly valued.
  • Strong familiarity with AML/CTF related legislation and reforms.
  • Relevant graduate and postgraduate qualifications.
