Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting R&D and engineering tasks by designing, developing, and testing embedded systems under supervision.
  • Assisting in the Test & Evaluation processes and subsequent data analysis.
  • Working on site at various locations.
  • Supporting the wider team with projects as and when needed.
  • Providing meaningful contributions to system design, development, and testing.
  • Making valuable contributions to team environment and culture.

Requirements:

  • Credibility, integrity, and high personal ethical standards that align with QinetiQ values.
  • Good communication and writing skills, comfortable with collaborating in a dynamic team environment.
  • Experience and competency in using the Microsoft Suite, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerBI.
  • University student in the penultimate year of their studies.
  • Experience with embedded systems and microprocessor software development, including competency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Engineering design experience, such as development in Altium and/or SolidWorks.
  • Experience working in engineering/technical and/or defence businesses.
