Job Summary

Overview:

The Production Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in the mortgage lending process. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor closing dates to ensure timely delivery of disclosures.
  • Facilitate pipeline management meetings as needed.
  • Develop plans to address branch needs and work closely with processing to ensure accurate submissions to underwriting.
  • Assist with processing needs, including supplying new processors with training and support.
  • Support branch operations by prioritizing tasks and workflow structure.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain effective organization through employee selection, training, compensation, motivation, and review.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with peers, subject matter experts, and management across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' loan processing experience.
  • Experience with mortgage lending functions, TRID rules and regulations, and Encompass loan origination software.
  • Knowledge of processing, closing, and funding loans according to investors and agency guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
