Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care across Central Queensland.
  • Provide expert anaesthetic services for obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, and dental procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Anaesthesia to develop and implement departmental goals and strategies.
Requirements
  • Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Anaesthesia with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA). Typically, this requires Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through a CME program approved by the relevant college.
