About Us

HammondCare ERINA is seeking Casual Specialised Carers in Dementia Care to provide exceptional care.

We prioritise our residents' needs, creating a home away from home. As a Specialised Carer, you'll deliver tailored, personalised dementia-focussed care in a cottage environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming the expert on our residents' wellbeing
  • Engaging with residents at every turn, making every moment matter
  • Fulfilling each shift through HammondCare's Mission in Action and Values

All new staff complete an onsite, paid orientation program, have buddy shifts, and are supported by experienced Registered Nurses, Clinical Care Managers, and a Residential Manager on site.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A genuine passion for serving elderly people and enabling them to live their best life
  • Flexibility to cover shifts as needed, particularly evening and night shifts
  • Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
  • Knowledge and experience of people living with Dementia and their needs
  • Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care, or willingness to undertake a HammondCare recognised CERT III
